You can permanently delete your MacroCheck AI account and associated cloud data using either method below. You do not need to reinstall the app to use the email option.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open MacroCheck AI and sign in.
2. Go to Profile (bottom tab).
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Read the warnings, confirm, and verify your identity (Google or password).
5. Your account and cloud data are deleted. You are signed out automatically.

Option 2 — Without the app

If you uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address linked to your account:

support@macrocheckai.com

We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request.

What we delete

• Your login account (email/password or Google-linked Firebase account)
• Profile (name, goals, body metrics, preferences)
• Food logs, macros, diary entries, and daily summaries
• Weight history
• AI coach memory and generated summaries
• Custom foods saved to your account
• Cloud-linked meal metadata

What we do not delete automatically

• Google Play subscription: Cancel separately in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel billing or issue refunds.
• Purchase records: Google Play and RevenueCat may retain billing records per their policies (we do not store payment card numbers).
• Meal photos on your phone: Remove via Settings → Manage Storage before deletion, or uninstall the app.
• Crash diagnostics: Anonymized crash reports in Firebase Crashlytics may be retained for a limited period.

Processing time

In-app deletion is immediate for cloud account data. Email requests are processed within 7 business days. Backup systems may take up to 30 days to fully purge residual copies.
